Beyond A Room is an experimental visualization project for a kitchen, purely made for VR (Rift, experimental Valve HMD support).
The main focus is interactions that change the furniture, accessories and even the environments. Beware though, some things are hidden and can only be changed or unlocked by experimenting with objects, thus making it a rather fun way to showcase ones architectural work.
- Architectural visualization
- VR experience
- Physically based interactive objects
- Customizable furniture and walls/floor
- Multiple seamlessly streamed environments
- Hidden interactions and a lot to explore
A small little experience that runs fairly well with interactions and sound. It has not been fully optimized or polished to perfection due to time constrains. It works mostly as a showcase of how interactions and changing environments can add to the player experience for architectural visualizations, making them fun.
Version 1.01 includes many bugfixes. added features like fade animations for the camera and increases performance significantly.
